for newbies, i wish to take you on an excursion of enlightenment of 'traditional' indian restaurants. to me, traditional means what i was weaned on. from that base i question tradition to bring some new ideas to dinner plates.
indian found doesnt have to be hot. mangotree's tradition was to deliver wholesome food to fit all cosmopolitan tastes. fayre ranged from unadulterated plain meals through to unique high flavour premium indian dishes. mangotree's reputation was symbolic of a different style of menus and service that set it apart from most other restaurants and paved innovative ideas for some to follow
now, unless tesco or mr annon buys my intellectual property rights, the next best thing is to cook it yourself with my help. i will provide tips, know how, processes, timings and spices for you to make authentic restaurant style food with mangotree ethos in your own home or camp fire. try not to cheat massaging your own ego by boasting its your own work. i dont mind about the credits, but i do need your recommendations and more clients to feed a family! if time permits, might even write a book.
